Both Edvard Munch and Vincent Van Gogh dreamt of a solo exhibition. Edvard Munch painted “Frieze of Life” series accompanied by his words of poetry. Van Gogh wanted to decorate his whole house with his painting for Paul Gauguin’s visit. Both their dreams never made it to reality,not while they were alive. Never the less their best paintings were made as part of these series. These days I am making a film installation that brings their series of work into one (virtual) space for the first time.
