Multi-disciplinary artist with a graphic design background. Yafit won the Wim van Leer prijs in 1995 for her final project at the art academy in Tel Aviv and went on to study at the Rietveld Academy and Sandberg institute in Netherlands. She complemented her art studies with a Masters degree (Cum Laude) in Literature studies at the University of Amsterdam. She holds a weekly VJ spot in the Melkweg and has extensive experience in creating large projections for festivals, such as Lowlands, Awakenings, Noorderslag and 5 days off, and Museums exhibits, such as Reconstructing Stevens and the Bedroom restoration at the Van Gogh Museum. Yafit is currently developing a script for the short-film ‘Inword’, funded by the Nederlandse Film Fonds, as well as preparing 4 short animations for an upcoming Picasso exhibition at the Van Gogh Museum.
